Hi guys & gals! How’s your Thursdays treating you? Chugging through your work days I hope? ^_^ Good!
Today I bring you another Recipe Feature – perhaps because we are in the month of December and there’s such an emphasis on food and drinks that I think it’s important to fill up the blog with lots of yummy delicious recipes for you to make for your family (or for yourself! Ain’t nothing wrong with keeping it yourself !).
So here is a great recipe for Mulled Tea I found! Yum! a great holiday staple I feel, comparative to it’s counterpart Mulled Wine ( which regardless of this being a tea blog, I might have to find a recipe for that!).
Ready? Let’s go!
This recipe makes one cup of tea!
- 2 1/2 teaspoons loose leaf tea leaves
- 3 cloves
- 3 whole allspice berries
- 1 teaspoon of coarsely crushed cinnamon stick
- 1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind
- 1/4 teaspoon grated fresh lemon rind
- cheesecloth (5″square of fine mesh)
- cotton string
1.) Place all contents on the spread out cheesecloth.
2.) Bring corners together & tie with a string.
3.) To brew place tea bag in a mug & add 6 oz. of boiling water.
4.) Steep for 4 to 5 minutes.
The original recipe can be found on food.com, if you click the link here
Stay Tuned for further Recipe Features & other posts! As always, thanks for reading!
Cheers! Lindsay 🙂
