Hey you! What’s shakin?
Itsa meee Mario!
Okay not actually, I just wanted to say it.
Today is Tuesday! It has been a couple of days since I did a post. This is slowly becoming one of my favorite parts of my job, because it allows me to talk about the teas at Bean Around Books in a way that I think is more fun and creative than on Facebook and Twitter!
Onwards and forwards then! Today I am going to be doing a review on one of our newer teas in our collection, as of like a month or two ago it joined us – B.C. Sunset ( fun fact: I named it!). B.C. Sunset is a Rooibos blend of tea.
The reason I named it a B.C. Sunset, is … well because I thought it looked like a sunset! You take a look and see for yourself.
As always I include pictures so you see what the tea looks like. I also like to include pictures, because as weird as it sounds, I think some of the teas are very pretty! The Juicy Black Currant is one and the Marzipan Rooibos is another very pretty tea.
The B.C. Sunset has lots of colorful and delicious organic ingredients:
- Red Rooibos
- Orange Peel
- Natural Flavoring
One of the first things I noticed about this tea is that it smells like orange kool-aid. This is not a joke. I smell orange kool-aid. Which is good because orange kool-aid was my favorite as a kid. Keep in mind too there are no artificial ingredients or fillers, so unlike orange kool-aid which is chock full of artificial nasty stuff (which tastes sugary and delicious!), you are getting nothing but natural and organic ingredients!
I can’t stop smelling it haha! This tea is sweet smelling citrus Rooibos. There – that is a way more sophisticated way of saying it than that it smells like orange kool-aid.
The tea even tastes sort of orange-y/citrusy, which I think is a result of the orange peel. I would recommend this tea either plain or with a little bit of sugar, but no milk! Don’t do the milk thang with this tea.
As always, our teas are available for purchase in store or online at www.beanaroundbooks.com
That’s all for now! Stay tuned for the next Tea at a Glance! Thanks for reading!
Cheers! Lindsay 🙂
